Currently VEPEZ S.A has two fishing plants, one located in Caleta Olivia and another in San Julián. At present we are launching a new fishing plant, also the acquisition of a bagging machine imported from Italy, new commercial agreements and projects that today position the company on a new level compared to its competitors, today exporting almost all of the production to different continents.

Caleta Olivia Plant

Our establishment has a total area 6200 m2. It is prepared for the processing of all the raw materials that enter with a storage capacity of 1300 tons, and an ice factory that allows us to guarantee the freshness of the raw materials throughout the production process. We exclusively process HUBBSI HAKE and SHRIMP, local species of the Argentine seas, highly demanded by the domestic and international market.
Both the Hubbsi Hake and the Shrimp are captured by our trawlers and later processed in the different cleaning, cutting, filleting, classification, packaging, freezing and storage sectors. We comply with strict controls by implementing the HACCP System in all stages of the production process, which allows us to ensure the highest quality of our products to supply the demand and requirements of international markets.

San Julian Plant

We count on a processing and storage plant with a total area of 990 m2 and implement cutting-edge technology for the processing of raw materials with added value such as hamburgers and chorizo made with minced hake. We produce our own ice to guarantee freshness and have a cold room suitable for storing two hundred tons of frozen product.
